With *which* executables?  From the symptoms you describe, it's pretty
clear they're not made by DJGPP, so it's no surprise the DJGPP tools
don't work with them.  Win32/PE is the file format of Win32,
i.e. native 32-bit MS-Windows applications.  Tools operating on that
would come with native Win32 ports of GNU tools, like Cygwin or
MinGW32.
