DJGPP produces a different type of executable that MinGW, but that
shouldn't prevent it from running under Perl.
Anyway, your message doesn't tell enough details to try to analyze the
problem. Please post how exactly ``everything crashes'' (what
messages do you see when it does--please paste the exact full text
from the screen into your message), and what command string, exactly,
is an argument to Perl's `system' function.
