Beware! RHIDE is not the compiler. It's an IDE.

Although you need run RHIDE on full screen, you can switch to
another task with [Alt]-Tab.

11 MB?? Where you get this file? The last stable snapshot (of
2003/04/08) had 5.5 Mb of size. And I get all needed for
multilingual support. Did you try with this file? I good habit:
Before installing a new file, delete all files related with
another version. You can see the complete list of files installed
on the manifest directory.
