You should uninstall the old package cleanly:

    cd \path\to\djgpp
    rm -f @manifest\perl580b.mft

If you have an old Perl 5.6.1 installation, you should remove that first too:

    rm -f @manifest\perl561b.mft

Then:

    djtarx \path\to\perl561b.zip
