Windows looks like a give and take OS. Mostly take from users by the 
powers that be. Sorry to be off-topic.
I have migrated to RHIDE 1.6 as a result of other problems with 1.5. But 
now the F1 key became an instant Alt + X. I shall be "redir"ecting a bug 
report to Andrew on this latest mystery.
Speaking of redir WinXP has its own REDIR.EXE. I had to rename yours for 
this to work.
