Ben, thanks for trying to reproduce this. I run Win2K and my swapfile sits on C: in the default location. The C: drive is also where my DJGPP environment and sources are so it's alive when I start my program. The identical program compiled with MinGW does not have the same effect as when I compile it with DJGPP. So it could be a Win2K bug but one that only DJGPP exposes.
