Back on 2001-12-15 per Google searching this group - Tim had a nice beginning of an example for using sound() to create a function that accepts frequency, duration parms. I must be doing my loop to sleep wrong as the sound stops before I ever get to the nosound() function... or before I got the loop working right I skipped over the nosound() function and I had to C-A-D! <g>

Anyone have a working snip of code I could learn from - CPU speed independent timer would be a plus - working with 350MHz to 2+GHz systems... ever so slight speed differences!

TIA!
