I'll suggest trying the following define at the top of the source file
needing snprintf:

#define snprintf(a,b,c,d) sprintf(a,c,d)

You will need to examine the source to see if the code is writing 
partial strings or just using the new form for better programming
reasons (to control buffer overflows).

But so far in all cases I've encountered this has been a simple fix
(and works on old unix systems which don't have it either).
