Please post at least one command using diff.exe that results in this 
error message.  Please post the exact command that you typed and the 
exact text of the error message(s).

In general, if long file names work with one DJGPP program, they should 
work with all of them.  Do any other DJGPP programs on that machine 
support long file names?

Please don't edit DJGPP.ENV.  In fact, I suggest that you restore the 
original DJGPP.ENV from djdev203.zip, since the editing you did might 
well have broken it.
