I sincerely find this a legacy problem as presently DJGPP is known
enough to be in media (including the READMEs) which will take ages to
update.

The issue w/approval will be the additional burden to the volunteers
supporting DJGPP.

I believe any solution which can be done by (eventually additional)
automation is welcome but any decision which may require manual work
should be avoided as by now it seems to me the noise level in the
list/NG is low.
