Hello, I'm a beginning/intermediate C++ programmer. I want to make a program that can connect to my web site and download a file to my hard drive. Does this require me to embed the entire HTTP and FTP protocols in my program? Or are there packages that can help simplify the process? I'm just not sure what's involved in connecting to the Internet, and I don't know where to find any information. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Derek Young
