This makes no sense at all (F8 has nothing to do with running a program).  
Go to a command prompt.  cd to your DJGPP\BIN directory.  
Enter the command "dir go32-v2.exe".  How big is this file?
What is the date on it?  Enter the command "go32-v2".  What happens?
Reboot?  Print of message?
