problem is only with <iostream> (or <iostream.h>) <fstream> <ios> works 
o.k.
I have binutils 2.11.2 gcc 3.1 djgpp 2.03 - all from zip picker (downloaded 
from Polish cyfr-kr.edu.pl mirror few hours ago)
