As matter of fact, the version which I d/l from simtel does exhibit
the same problems. Someone told me to do "set rcsinit=" (blank rcsinit
env variable) then the problem goes away, either with ci or co. Could
you/someone explains to me why setting a blank rcsinit env variable do
so much difference?

BTW, since I couldn't get cvs run on pure DOS yet ('coz lfn problems),
could you give me tips on how using RCS to mantain revision history of
a source tree? Most resources on the net I've found deals with RCS in
per file basis, but not tips on structuring a tree.

TIA
