Subject: | ANNOUNCE: doschk 1.1 packages for DJGPP |
Reply-To: | djgpp AT delorie DOT com |
Hello. I've made some packages of doschk for DJGPP. doschk checks the validity of filenames on various OSes. For example, it will check that filenames uniquely fit into the 8+3 filename restriction of DOS and that the filenames contain valid characters for DOS. An example usage: unzip -l package.zip | doschk doschk is probably of most use to people preparing packages for DJGPP. If you only wish to use doschk, please download the binary distribution (dosck11b.zip). If you wish to rebuild doschk or examine its sources, please download the source distribution (dosck11s.zip). The distributions are available respectively from: http://www.simtel.net/gnudlpage.php?product=/gnu/djgpp/v2apps/dosck11b.zip&name=dosck11b.zip http://www.simtel.net/gnudlpage.php?product=/gnu/djgpp/v2apps/dosck11s.zip&name=dosck11s.zip I hope these packages are useful.
