> Which version of dxe2gen are you trying to re-build? (dxe2_011.zip?)
I have tried:
dxe2_010, dxe2_011, dxe2_012
... all with the same unhappy ending (

I have been checking the site almost weekly to see if anything is updated.
I have over a dozen additional libraries that do not appear on your site
that I got direct from simtelnet (or others) including:
obj2bfd, pdcurses, emxlib, rsx, libbn 1.1, libiconv, libsocket, etc
I did notice that there is a crt0.o dated "Samstag, 29. Dezember 2001" in my
/lib directory.

packages successfuly compiled with my current configuration:
libxslt, grx20, allegro, allegro-ttf, mesa 2.6 (I have problems to compile a
later version), zlib, etc.

> 2) Can you build other packages?
Yes. (Please see answer question number 1)

I'm trying to build GCC 3.04 as we speak.

There is the remote chance one of the lib files are corrupted somehow, I can
try uninstall-reinstall for the packages dxe2gen requires to build correctly
(I uninstalled-reinstalled GCC again tonight). But I have too much work
invested in the other libraries to wipe them out and start completely new
because of this.
