Hi!

Is this the group to post any Allegro-related questions?
(even if it concerns only the Windows-port of Allegro)

if not, could somebody please direct me to a newsgroup that
handles the Windows version of allegro.

Well, if this is the right group, I have a problem compiling my
allegro programs. (I use the MSVC version, alleg.lib - optimised DLL import
library) and
I get a compile error like this:

c:\program files\microsoft visual studio\vc98\include\wingdi.h(486) : error
C2371: 'BITMAP' : redefinition; different basic types
        c:\program files\microsoft visual
studio\vc98\include\allegro\gfx.h(220) : see declaration of 'BITMAP'

and it also complains about "TRACE macro redefinition" and "ASSERT macro
redifinition"
Anybody got any hints?

(I use Windows XP, Allegro 4.0.0 and Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0)
