File-Save As

Choose plain text. Make sure to give your file the extension c (for c
source, or C or cc or cpp for C++. some versions of Word will try to add
the txt extension to the filename. If that happens you will have to
rename it after you save it.)

Also, make sure "hide extensions" options is not set in the Folder
Options->View dialog in Explorer so you can actually see extensions.

then you have to compile your code using gcc. read the document
readme.1st in the djgpp. if not, consult the documentation, read the FAQ
etc.

DJ: i hope i have satisfied the requirement of saying something useful.
now i rant.

<snipped 50 or so lines of garbage spewed by a clueless and lazy poster>

do not post HTML on newsgroups. even though the content of your message
is only one line, you end up posting 50 times more than that. that wastes
time, storage space, bandwidth etc.

also, get a clue, don't use word as a source editor, or if you are going
to do that, don't try to program.
