Version 1.2.1 of MSS (Memory Supervision System, a malloc() debugger) has
been released.

Note about maintainership of this package: the maintainers are Juan Jesus
Alcolea Pizazo <a920101 AT zipi DOT fi DOT upm DOT es> and
Peter Palotas <blizzar AT hem1 DOT passagen DOT se>. I've contacted Peter back in 2000,
and then he stated that he is willing to hand over this package to somebody
willing to take over. Some time ago I've asked Peter for permission to release
1.2.1 version. This time I got no reply. I'm not claiming that I'm now
a maintainer of this package, and I'll be happy to hand over my fixes if
somebody wants to maintain it.

This is a bugfix release, with following changes:

   - Added new header, <no_mss.h> to work around MSS's inability to deal
with redefined names like free, malloc, or overloaded operators new, delete.

   - Provided replacement <streambuf.h> which resolves incompatibility
between MSS and G++ 2.95.x standard C++ library.

   - Now MSS accepts without a warning all NULL pointer deallocations, as
this is standard behaviour. Note that you still have to disable
WarnOnAllNullDeallocs option to achieve this.

   - Removed information on how to patch DJGPP libc, as it deals with a quite
old version.

   - Some other minor changes to documentation, makefiles, etc.

Send any questions, comments, bug reports to <lauras AT softhome DOT net>. If and
only if this e-mail bounces, use <lauras AT licejus DOT lt>.
