Work's on the way. Not quite ready for relase yet, but it's getting
there, eventually.

Did the FSF really start work on an F95 compiler?

The Java compiler should be easy, but that doesn't change the fact
that it's close to impossible to implement the _runtime_ part of the
Java Language in a DOS system. Java assumes every target platform has
Multiprocessing, Multithreading, Internet capabilities, long filenames
and quite a list of other features, none of which exist on raw DOS.

Even if all the snow were burnt, ashes would remain.
