first, basic C++ questions are off-topic here. this is a djgpp specific 
newsgroup.

second, we don't do homeworks here.

try to come up with a solution yourself, then, if you have problems, try 
alt.comp.lang.learn.c-c++ or comp.lang.c++.moderated for help on specific 
problems.
