I didn't write STL.  I don't use it either.  And you'd be hard pressed
to upset me by choosing not to use my code anyway; everyone has
opinions and preferences and I won't lose sleep if you act on yours ;-)

After all, that's what Free Software is all about, right?  Being able
to do what you want (or not!) with the code that's available to you.
