Well this is a question more suited for the Allegro AGP Mailing 
List<agp AT canvaslink DOT com>. To subscribe to them go to 
http://www.talula.demon.co.uk/allegro and then click the "Mailing Lists" 
link further down the page and follow the instructions for joining all 3 
lists.

As for your question I can help you a little with it. Mainly because I'm a 
member to all the Mailing Lists at Delorie and Allegro. I am a little more 
helpful than others on the mailing lists for allegro because I try to find 
some good tutorials myself instead of just giving you the address to sift 
through all the articles on the sites that are given. Here are the general 
sites that I go to for my information and help on game programming in 
general (ie. not allegro specific):

Now here are a few articles I found thought provoking from the flipcode 
site. Some of them don't give you the actual way of making games, but rather 
they give you the information on concepts and expect you to look more

Now as for your question itself. The Allegro site <http://www.allegro.cc> 
has several addresses that are specific to game programming with the Allegro 
library. Here is one of the useful ones that I stumbled upon and use to 
learn the basics. Mainly because almost all of the other Allegro how to 
sites for creating a game with Allegro and whatever compiler you have (ie. 
DJGPP, Dev-C++, MinGW32, Cygwin, MSVC) are designed for people that have a 
good grasp on C\C++ programming and have a goof grasp on how to program and 
use the Allegro library functions, tools, and routines. Here is the site I 
found very helpful:

I hope that these sites will be as helpful to you as they have been to me. 
Plus do sift through the other articles on the sites I mentioned above 
because there are undoubtably more helpful ones those are just the ones I 
found while searching for a response for you question. Bye.
