hi,

I am using pdcurses 2.4 on djgpp to port a GNU/Linux ncurses program
to DOS/Windows.

The problem is that pdcurses 2.4 does not seem to be able to display
8bit characters (i.e. German Umlaute). For example, ö is displayed as
a division-sign.

Is there a way to make djgpp/pdcurses-2.4 display 8bit-characters correctly ?

thanks,
