hi,
  think you should check out the libsocket page at -
http://libsocket.tsx.org/
word of caution - Richard Dawe has stopped furthur development on
libsocket.
you can also check out -
http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Peaks/8523/
for "WSock - WinSock driver for DJGPP ".
also see libwin at -
http://www.phekda.freeserve.co.uk/richdawe/mysoft.html
that may help you in making calls to windows api.
check out the faq that came with DJGPP and you should get more info i
guess.
