Hi , Thanks Hans for the help in installation !! Now i have another problem. I am using gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release) I have problems compiling my trivial program. #include <iostream.h> void main() { cout << "My first C++ program\n\n"; } I tried " gcc a.cpp " C:\WINDOWS\Desktop>gcc a.cpp c:/djgpp/tmp\ccSSI7E3.o(.text+0x27):a.cpp: undefined reference to `cout' c:/djgpp/tmp\ccSSI7E3.o(.text+0x2c):a.cpp: undefined reference to `ostream::oper ator<<(char const *)' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status then i tried "gcc a.cpp -lstdcpp" C:\WINDOWS\Desktop>gcc a.cpp -lstdcpp c:/djgpp/bin/ld.exe: cannot open -lstdcpp: No such file or directory (ENOENT) collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
