Try running autoconf at first. I used DJGPP port of autoconf-2.13 (I 
don't know whether autoconf-2.50 is Ok here). After that configure 
runs Ok and also there is no problems with building. However I didn't 
test whether all is Ok (and I don't have time to do such tests now)
