I'm using Windows98 on an AMD Atheon 800MHz CPU. I'm trying to
configure my Allegro (WIP version 3.9.35). My problem is that I can't
seem to get Allegro to detect or at least output any sound of any
kind. I've tried the 'Setup' program in the setup directory. It
tells me I have a Sound Blaster Pro digital driver and Adlib (OPL3)
MIDI. These reading correspond with what I get in my Windows/ Control
Panel/ Multimedia/ Audio and MIDI tabs. But when I go to test the
sound using the setup program or any example program or any other
Allegro program I can't get any sound outpu whatsoever. I know the
sound works okay as I have no problems using MIDI, wav, mp3, or any
other sound files under Windows. Any advice or suggestions would be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks much,
Bullwinkle
