Before using sophisticated this, why don't you try first to compile a
simple C (or g77) programme?
This would help you find whether your problems come from RHIDE of from
general DJGPP installation.
AFAIK, the first thing to do should be going to any DOS directory,
perform DIR (to have the list of files),
then perform "ls -l" to have the GNU alternate directory listing.
Then try to compile an example (e.g. examp.c) with:
gcc examp.c -o examp
and see what happens.
