In all latest archives of DJGPP port of gcc-2.95.X I only  .BAT files 
(there is only one in gcc295Xs.zip) were in CR LF format.
All other files (including DJGPP related readme files) were in Unix text 
format. I didn't saw any objections about this. There are not so much 
programs which are not able to display such files (like Notapad.exe)
