It would be very hard to make a screen grabber with DJGPP because a
screen grabber must be a TSR (terminate and stay resident) program.
TSRs by their nature are hard to write in real-mode C, let alone
protected-mode C.

If the application in which you are trying to take a screen shot is
free software, consider adding a function to save the screen to a PCX
or BMP file.
