Lamentably it looks like a bug in the BIOS of your board. Most probably your BIOS
doesn't support the save/restore current VGA state call. I saw it in Matrox and S3
BIOSes. One Matrox line of board (very famous one) just didn't implement it. It
was fixed with a patch so I suggest asking the manufacturer to fix it.
