	Well, I looked under GNU and don't find any executables.  So,
dunno what version I have.  If it's cpp.exe, which is in my bin
directiory, it's dated the 14th of jan '00.  My editor, rhide, is
dated '97....

	I think I'll take the book back, get my money and do that....
