Please post the complete command line you used to compile this, and the 
exact text of the error message(s) printed by the compiler.

Emacs looks for the file compile.elc or compile.el.  They should be in 
your lisp subdirectory.

What version of Emacs is that, and what zip files did you download to 
install it?
