Ladies and Gentlemen, The Illustrious DJ Delorie!!!!

You've made it easier for me to learn C++.  I must offer loads of
thanks.  I don't know how I could ever have gotten a /decent/ C/C++
programming environment on my computer, to learn a language I've been
meaning to _buy_ software for forever and never had the money to buy,
without your assistance.
