It's IMHO inappropriate to demote a free software package in such a
blunt way.  It is okay to say that it was easier for you to set up
another compiler, or simply mention that other solutions exist (they
are all listed in the FAQ, section 3.6, btw).  But publicly bashing a
free package because you think it's not good enough is not in the
spirit of Free Software, IMHO.  Please try to avoid that.
