For a long, long time...

The last time this was true it regarded INFOPATH.  But that was, like, 7 
years ago, due to a bug in the ported Info reader.  This bug is long 
solved.

The variable DJDIR should have forward slashes, but that variable is 
computed by the code which reads and processes DJGPP.ENV, and users 
should *never* set it directly.
