Windows 2000 limits nested DPMI programs to two levels; its
virtualized DOS box itself crashes when you run bash > gcc > cpp.exe,
or make > gcc > cpp.exe, or rhide > gcc > cpp.exe, etc.

My suggestion was to make a Cygwin- or MinGW-hosted DJGPP, similar to
the Linux-hosted one.
