I really wonder how you came up with such a crazy selection ...  you
have downloaded sources for various packages, but no compiler, no
assembler, and no Emacs.

I suggest you start again, by visiting the zip-picker from

It'll help you make a more useful selection.

Several, actually. There are special DJGPP CD's available (from the
FSF itself, among others, if memory serves), and there's always the
might SimTel.Net MSDOS CD set from Walnut Creek. Maybe the single most
important CD set ever made to reall get some work done, on MSDOS.
