I have installed a new djgpp folder called C:\dj2k. I have a working copy
of 2.01 and allegro 3.12 in C:\DJGPP
i installed dj*203,bnu210,gcc2952,gpp2952,mak3791 into C:\dj2k using WinZip
i rebooted with the new PATH & DJGPP envs
i copied RHIDE.exe (ver 1.4) from DJGPP\bin to dj2k\bin and made a new .PIF
to launch it from the desktop
i then successfully built Allegro 3.9.33 into C:\dj2k
BUT . . . .
when i try to link the Allegro demo i get
Error: c:/dj2k/bin/ld.exe: warning: demo.o: local symbol '_s' has no section
Error: c:/dj2k/bin/ld.exe: bfd assertion fail
/djgpp/gnu/binutl-210/bfd/coff-i386.c:435

i shall try copying binutl-210 to my c:\DJGPP\gnu but what's going on??
