I apologize for mis-speaking in my prev email. when I changed my .env file to point to the rsxntdj stuff, it uses the rsxntdj spec file; I copied the gcc entry from the lib\gcc-lib\djgpp\... specs file and tested. it seems to be waiting for some input; I'm not sure if I pressed ctrl+z or ctrl+break, but it gave a warning about not being able to exec -D__WIN32__. when I restored the backups of the specs file, I could compile okay - if it was a gui or simple console app. One test app includes assert.h, and when linking I received multiple on resolved references to __dj_stderr, __dj_stdout and __dj_assert. if I reset my .env file to not use the rsx section, the above compiles fine! April
