If you want to know how DJGPP proceeds, you should subscribe to the
djgpp-workers list and lurk for a while. It's a pretty open list. If you
send a patch in and it's good, it generally gets applied. There's usually
a bit of discussion on each patch. I'd say that documentation patches are
probably the easiest to get in, since they are easy to test (just use your
eyes & brain ;) ).
