Just because it does not use DLL's doesn't mean it's unsuitable for creating
Windows apps.  DLL's are not the only criteria, you know.

DJGPP/GNU is a suite of compilers, interpreters, libraries, headers, scripts
and various other doohickeys.

Uh... preferences?  I prefer cold beer. ;)

DJGPP is a DOS port of the GNU Compiler Suite, which executes in 32-bit
protected mode under DPMI, and generates executables which do the same.
