I hope this doesn't sound like a rediculous question. . .

If DJGPP does not use .dll files and is thus unsuitabale for Windows apps,
What do the majority of prgrammers use DJGPP for?

Please don't laugh. I am a newbie and I'm trying to get a handle on DJGPP,
programmers preferences and the like.
