It does for me.  Set TEST_FINDS_EXE in the environment, and it will
for you, too.

I suggest to take a look at the source distribution of any of the
ports in the v2gnu directory on SimTel.NET.  Almost all of them are
built for DJGPP by running the configure script on DOS and/or
Windows.  I think you will see how easy it is, even though it requires
a few quirks.

That's the standard Bash prompt, even on DOS.  The OS has nothing to
do with that.
