You might Check out the Mesa library <mesa3d.org>, It certainly supports
dos and works for Watcom and DJGPP.

You might want to read up the doc's about compiling it for DJGPP as there
were some problems IIRC. One member of this (Jason Green IIRC> list had
some problems with compiling it but he finally managed to get it done.

You also might want to search these archives <www.delorie.com> for that
message and see what exactly hapenned.
