Wow, that's a lot of settings (for ``relevant parts'' only ;-).

How about trying a vanilla DOS configuration, without all these
drivers and TSRs?

> COUNTRY=46,437,C:\DOS\COUNTRY.SYS
> DEVICEHIGH=C:\DOS\ANSI.SYS
> DEVICEHIGH=C:\DOS\DISPLAY.SYS CON=(EGA,437,1)

These 3 are nasty in some cases.

If this is a DOS system, why is IFSHLP.SYS installed?
