Ahh..I should have done it..the thing is that when you use Emacs as a
editor for a long time you tend to think of it as a editor and forget that
it has many other functionalities..

Indeed...But I think that the learning curve might be a bit more steep
for emacs than other dedicated mailers like PINE etc..
FWIW I had some problems about getting to use RMAIL but with Eli's help I
got it right, which shows that if you have someone who nows the stuff to
help you then using and learning it is fun, otherwise it is a PITA to try
to find it yourself...

hmm..but in the wonderful world of X you can have emacs running and have
another(as many) window(s) open with PINE and looking at your mesasge
etc...
In the terminal world however what you say is certainly true...

Yes that is correct, which was what made me switch to PINE and IMHO PINE
is simply the best!
