Strip debug info and, better, UPX are the solution. There is also a fixed overhead in DJGPP to make DOS a decent UNIX-like system. Code doesn't grow so awfully The full exe for 2-in-1 3D demo in Ada 95 below, compiled with DJGPP patched for GNAT, holds in 200KB, with built-in 3D models!
