Well please don't forget that despite your criticism's of win98 (IMHO
quite understandable too) you probably have a dual boot setup of linux and
win98 as do most people on this list.

IMHO you need some 32 bit version of windoze (the 9x series preferably) in
order to run dos and windoze games, and for a DJGPP session...for
everything else you can use linux, as I do myself.

Wine is good but it still barfs with a general protection fault in most of
the newer Directx games...
